#Worldbuilding These creatures were born within the NocturneNocturne\#plane The Domain of dreams where fantastical imaginations become real. Each being is resplendent and gorgeous, often taking on the form of a pleasant or silly jester-like appearance. Within this theatre of dreams the Kalashtar reside as manifestations of these dreams., by the original AarakocraAarakocra\#Worldbuilding Originally from the Elemental plane of Air, these creatures migrated to the Material Plane in search of power. Unbeknownst to them, generations later, those still in Adestria have had their affinity with the winds lost, their wings clipped, unable to stay aloft for long periods of time.  Confined within the dark caves of Thesah on Mahra Coulta, they dive for fish in short bursts. Yet many young Aarakocra continue to hope for the day when they will be able to soar once again th that dreamed of knowledge rather than power. Separate from the KalashtarKalashtar\#Worldbuilding The Kalashtar are born within Nocturne, the domain of dreams, as manifestations of imagination. Often a Kalashtar will leave Nocturne in search of the one who dreamt them into being, some just to witness their creator, others to destroy them.  Leaving Nocturne takes a toll on the Kalashtar though and must leave much of their original form, this ensuing incarnation is reminiscent of any other type of humanoid but there is an unmistakable ‘dream’ quality to them still. * They ge they flew from the Domain of Dreams early on and began their search. Generations of searching required secrecy and a silence that gave them different features, softer wings for gliding, and larger eyes for nocturnal activity.
