Lesser Beings

#Worldbuilding In the absence of gods due to the Divine Gate, primordial beings from The DuskThe Dusk\#Worldbuilding dusk.jpg These gods however had varying ideals for the plane of Adestria and split into factions befitting their ideals. One faction (The Cultivator Deities) believing that all life should be nurtured; another (The Betrayer gods) believing that nurturing all life will lead them to complacency and dependency and thus should learn to fend for themselves, and a final set of gods whom joined neither faction due to various reasons. Thus the Cultivator Deities fought the Betrayer god freed from the whims of their divine masters corrupt mortals on Adestria with their machinations. These powerful entities amass a following that gives them power in proportion to their worship.

Admenis, the Watcher

A Sphinx believed to have been alive since The DawnThe Dawn\#Worldbuilding dawn.jpg The Creator bestowed upon this plane the seed of life. And from it, as it grew, The Creator manifested form from its energy and life began. The seas roared into existence as a singular land mass took form, separating itself from the sky. Beasts of all shapes and intellect sprung forth adapting to their individual environments. The Creator saw upon what had been created before Him and separated His own life force to create entities we know as The gods. Each with their o and has seen all of history. That being said, there have been no sightings of Admenis for centuries, many believe the lack of following over the years has resulted in Admenis disappearing from the world yet still there remain a faithful remnant.

Cat Lord

Those who truly understand felines know that the Cat Lord is neither good nor evil but concerned with cat-things alone.

Lolth, the Spider Queen

The evil god of deceit, shadows, and spiders, Lolth weaves a complicated web of schemes and treachery through her worshipers, deceiving allies and enemies alike to gain power. It is said that the Spider Queen can see through the eyes of all spiders, and that she is truly all-knowing.

Mammon, the Greedy

Arch-Demon of Greed who is believed to have established the Lost City, yielding his riches to any one who is greedy enough to seek it out. The children’s tale about Mammon warns that greedy children will find themselves trapped inside a snake’s body that Mammon will eat.

Naviask, the Fey-Touched

Many have sought to traverse its glades and fields only to have their wits lost, time stolen and body’s warped. Landmarks may resemble the Material though mountains stan, its magic twisted him, changing his mission to destroy into a quest to heal scarred lands with nature. After the DivergenceDivergence\#OneShot In the Age of Conduits each god specified their prophet, receiving power in exchange for something they fight for good or for evil. These prophets are sent by the gods to stop Arkan though they fail., Naviask was drawn back to Adestria, where he currently remains, seeking to heal the devastation and ruin that still plague the world.

Somnus, Dream Eater

Also known as the Night Serpent, Somnus weaves the fabric of dreams and watches over the slumbering souls of both mortal and magical beings. Its presence brings a sense of calm and safety, ensuring that the realm of dreams remains a sanctuary where imagination can roam free. The Night Serpent's scales are said to hold the secrets of countless dreams, each one a story waiting to be told.

Vesh, the Bloody Siren

None know whether Vesh is a witch or a demigod, but she has walked Adestria for centuries, seducing those who pry into forbidden magics and drawing them to her as possible suitors. Acolytes cultivate sects of worshipers who engage in ritualistic orgies and masochistic rites, these hedonistic rituals culminating with her selection of a mate. Vesh feeds on the unchosen in a bloody massacre before laying with her selected survivor and vanishing to her realm. Their essences intertwined, she then lends her strength to her mate, watching over them for life.

Xalicas, the Judge

An angel with silvered-skin with one blackened wing and bandaged eyes. She is known as the Judge or the arm of BelialBelial, The Judge\#god #npc The two suns, Shakhor and Lavan, trace the sky of Adestria ever in harmony by the power of Belial the Judge. His scales judge fairly just as his suns shed light and magic upon the Material Plane. When Belial is not guiding the suns through the sky, it is believed Iora governs the sky instead.
