A swirling mass of necrotic chaos, Sethol is a sentient void of infinite depth that only craves destruction and madness. Effectively an unknown variable, The Devourer was forced into a more physical manifestation during The DuskThe Dusk\#Worldbuilding

These gods however had varying ideals for the plane of Adestria and split into factions befitting their ideals. One faction (The Cultivator Deities) believing that all life should be nurtured; another (The Betrayer gods) believing that nurturing all life will lead them to complacency and dependency and thus should learn to fend for themselves, and a final set of gods whom joined neither faction due to various reasons.
Thus the Cultivator Deities fought the Betrayer god and is believed, by the Bhuru people, to be chained under the sea by the Lord of the DeepLord of the Deep\#god #npc
Legends speak of a terrorizer of the seas, a leviathan large enough to span across all the oceans of Adestria. The tyranny of the folly who don’t respect the seas, he sends forth tempests that plunge ships to their grave.

Sailors and sea folk alike perform a ritual known as the Sea Tithe believing that it will appease the Lord of the Deep and allow safe passage across the seas.

Due to Sethol’s nature, it was given the Sahuagin species to govern rather than creating a race. The Devourer cares little for his followers or much of anything really, instead forcing them to be self-sufficient, to seek destruction and madness such as it.
Appearance
Sethol is believed to have been forced into a form that somewhat resembles a large shark, with a mouth of swirling darkness and an endless row of teeth and crazed eyes.
