Since the arrival of the gods, four distinct ages have passed: The DawnThe Dawn\#Worldbuilding dawn.jpg The Creator bestowed upon this plane the seed of life. And from it, as it grew, The Creator manifested form from its energy and life began. The seas roared into existence as a singular land mass took form, separating itself from the sky. One faction (The Cultivator Deities) believing that all life should be nurtured; another (The Betrayer gods) believing that nurturing all life will lead them to complacency and dependency and thus should learn to fend for themselves, and a final set of gods whom joined neither faction due to various reasons. Thus the Cultivator Deities fought the Betrayer god, The Age of ConduitsThe Age of Conduits\#Worldbuilding He then made anew the lands of Adestria, though still split into pieces. The Creator brought forth races to rule over the new land: elves, Dwarves and humans were created, each with defining features to aid their task. These children of Creation were never meant to be mindless masses without reason and though given their tasks were also bestowed their own will. As penance for their conflict, the gods were barred under a divine rule to govern over select races, those that found, and Post Divergence
